Manage and troubleshoot the data processing queue: track and log receipt of data input files from clients, transform and load data, generate reports and identify anomalies in the processing. Position requires strong analytical and database skills as well as expertise in UNIX shell and kernel automation.

The System Administrator is also responsible for the maintenance and trouble-shooting of the secure network environment, and for optimizing hardware and software for the most efficient utilization of the environment.

• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field. Consideration will be given to a combination of related education and required work experience.
  
• Two years of information technology experience in a technical role (systems, network administration , development, programming, analysis or other related areas)
  
• Experience with successfully handling confidential data in a secure and audited environment.
  
• Strong SQL database and Unix scripting skills and awareness of application system design requirements. In-depth knowledge of Unix and Windows operating system administration and networking. LAN/WAN TCP/IP networking in a heterogeneous environment using secure protocols.
  
• Programming experience. Shell (bash, csh), Perl, Java, php
  
• Ability to be self-motivated, work independently and interact with a variety of customers in a professional manner.
  

• Comfortable with team development tools and methodologies. Familiarity with Eclipse as a development environment and Subversion for version control and change management.
  
• Project Management experience.

Responsible for the client clinical support and support of the Vasc‑Alert sales team. Conduct client training and report review sessions to assist the client in understanding and using Vasc‑Alert reports as part of their Vascular Access Management program. Assist in developing and implementing new training materials and protocols.
